Beach Alepu

Overview

Alepu is one of the most untouched and wild spots on the Southern Black Sea coast, charming with its raw beauty, sheer scale, and a sense of absolute freedom. Here, there are no noisy beach bars, commercial venues, or organized tourism, but rather a kilometers-long, wide strip of fine sand squeezed between the open sea and the reed beds of the protected area. The location offers a unique combination of pristine seaside relaxation and ornithological tourism. The beach stands out with its deeper, rougher waters, massive sand dunes, and a mystical atmosphere completely detached from civilization. Among the most interesting highlights are the immediate proximity to the Alepu lagoon, which serves as a sanctuary for dozens of rare bird species, the panoramic view of the nearby St. Thomas Island (Snake Island), and the fact that this spot is one of the most popular locations in Bulgaria for fans of wild camping and authentic contact with nature.
