Varna

Varna Municipality is the pearl of the Northern Black Sea coast and the largest cultural, economic, and tourist hub in the region. It perfectly blends the pulse of a modern cosmopolitan city with centuries-old traditions and golden shorelines. The area stands out with a wide variety of beaches—ranging from vibrant city coasts lined with trendy beach bars, through the expansive resort complexes of "Golden Sands" and "St. St. Constantine and Helena", to the secluded and romantic bays to the south near Galata and Fichoza. The city takes pride in its majestic Sea Garden, one of Bulgaria's landmarks, offering kilometers of lush green alleys stretching along the seafront. Among the top attractions are the Varna Necropolis, home to the oldest gold treasure in the world, the Ancient Roman Baths, the Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral, the unique rock-hewn Aladzha Monastery, and the Dolphinarium, which delights visitors of all ages.
